She is skilled in special effects makeup, character makeup, beauty makeup, illusion makeup, body painting, airbrushing, historical recreation makeup, film and theater makeup, avant-garde makeup, hair styling, and everything in between.

I grew up loving unique and creepy things with things like Alice in Wonderland, Edger Allen Poe, Tim Burton, and the Halloween season fueling my love and imagination. I have always loved to create things as well. Most of my Christmas and birthday presents were art supplies or some kind. When I was not creating something, I was reading, which is why I am not only a makeup artist. I also have a Bachelors Degree in English with a minor in Psychology. From my background in English, I have developed the skill to create character looks from literary references along.

My love for character makeup led me to start cosplaying in 2015, and I have created over 30 cosplays and won multliple awards for my cosplays since then. I have a history of working in classic theater, outdoor theater, haunted house, and film makeup as well.

Makeup allows me to be creative and to have fun while also making a positive impact on others life. Makeup can make someone’s day, rather it be a natural look that helps a person see their own beauty or a bright, bold look that makes them feel more confident and look they way that they have always looked. My desire for my work to always be perfect is also reflected in my makeup, since every little detail matters to me.

Just like Alice, I have my own idea of a perfect world. While it may not be filled with nonsense and have talking cats, it is something that no one has seen before. I have never wanted to fit in or be normal. My Wonderland is filled with both beauty and gore, looks that are bold as well as simple, and filled with creativity and love. Whenever I sit down to do makeup, my goal is to bring that person’s idea look, or their Wonderland, to life.

“Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast”

                         - Lewis Carroll, Alice In Wonderland
